OLLSMPC SHOWCASE NEW PRODUCTS AT THE 2024 SANTIAGO CITY TOURISM MONTH CELEBRATION
The Our Lady of La Salette Multi-Purpose Cooperative (OLLSMPC) joined this year's fair to present its latest product offerings, including dried pineapples, plain dried mangoes, chocolate-coated dried mangoes, and pineapple jams.
The City Government of Santiago, through the City Information, Culture and the Arts, and Tourism Office, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) R2 Isabela-Santiago City Satellite Office, officially launched the 2024 Santiago City Tourism Month Celebration with the theme "Tourism and Peace." The opening ceremony was held on September 16, 2024, at the Center Atrium of Robinsons Place Santiago City.
A key highlight of the event is the Tourism Expo, which runs from September 16 to September 22, 2024. The expo features 14 local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), with special participation from the beneficiaries of the Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Project. This government initiative supports MSMEs by providing access to modern technology and resources to improve productivity and product diversity.
The expo showcases a wide variety of locally made products, emphasizing the success stories of SSF beneficiaries who have leveraged the program to enhance their production capabilities and market competitiveness. OLLSMPC's participation highlights its commitment to delivering high-quality food products while contributing to the city's economic growth.
