General Information
Our Lady of La Salette Multi-Purpose Cooperative (OLLSMPC) is a financial and service-oriented cooperative established on October 5, 1993.
It was founded to support members through accessible financial services, savings programs, and loan opportunities that promote economic growth and stability.
OLLSMPC provides a variety of services including savings deposit programs, time deposits, financial assistance through different loan programs,
and community-oriented membership benefits. The cooperative operates based on the principles of cooperation, transparency, good governance,
and mutual support among members.
Since its founding in 1993, OLLSMPC has grown significantly in membership, services, and financial capacity.
From an initial group of 123 members, the cooperative has expanded to more than 2,700 members across the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Ifugao.
Its authorized capitalization has also increased from ₱1,000,000 to over ₱50,000,000.
OLLSMPC has received multiple recognitions including the Faustino N. Dy Awards and the 2023 Villar Awards for Outstanding Community Enterprise,
highlighting its strong governance and commitment to community development.
OLLSMPC initially began its operations serving employees of La Salette College in Santiago City.
Over the years, the cooperative has expanded its services and membership coverage.
Today, OLLSMPC operates across the entire Region II (Cagayan Valley), serving members from the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Ifugao.
The cooperative continues to grow by providing accessible financial services and community support programs within its area of operation.

Membership
Individuals who meet the membership requirements and are willing to support the principles of cooperation may apply for membership in OLLSMPC.
Membership is open to qualified individuals within the cooperative’s area of operation, particularly within Region II (Cagayan Valley).
All prospective members are required to attend the Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) to understand the responsibilities, benefits,
and policies of the cooperative before becoming a regular member.
To apply for membership in OLLSMPC, applicants must submit several documents and complete the required fees.
These include an accomplished membership application form, a photocopy of a valid ID, Barangay Clearance,
TIN or Residence Certificate, two (2) 2×2 ID pictures, and proof of income.
Applicants must also attend the Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES).
Once approved by the Board of Directors, the applicant becomes a regular member of the cooperative.
The total membership requirement is approximately ₱4,600 which includes several components necessary for cooperative participation.
This includes:
Share Capital – ₱4,000
Membership Fee – ₱200
Orientation Fee – ₱100
Annual Dues – ₱50
Damayan Fund – ₱250
These contributions allow members to participate fully in the cooperative’s financial programs and services.
The Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) is a required orientation for all prospective members before they can officially join OLLSMPC.
This seminar helps applicants understand the cooperative’s mission, vision, policies, benefits, and responsibilities of membership.
During the seminar, participants learn how the cooperative operates, the financial services available to members, and the principles of cooperation.
After completing the seminar, applicants receive a certification confirming their participation, which is required as part of the membership application process.
Joining a cooperative like OLLSMPC allows individuals to become part of a community that promotes financial growth, cooperation, and mutual support.
Members gain access to savings programs, loan services, and financial assistance programs designed to help improve their economic stability.
In addition to financial benefits, members also participate in the cooperative’s development and decision-making through the General Assembly.

Savings programs include:
Regular Savings Deposit – A basic savings account with flexible deposits and easy withdrawals.
Special Savings Deposit – Designed for members saving for specific goals such as education or travel.
Premium Time Deposit – A fixed-term savings option with higher interest returns.
Super Special Savings – A high-yield savings program with flexible contributions.
Members may choose the program that best suits their financial goals and capacity.
Loan Services
OLLSMPC offers a wide range of loan programs designed to support the financial needs of its members.
These loans provide affordable financing for personal needs, business investments, and emergencies.

General Purpose Loan
Emergency Loan
Micro Loan (OR/CR Loan)
OFW Loan

Specialized loan programs such as Agricultural Loans, Commercial Loans, and Real Estate Mortgage Loans
are also available to support farming, entrepreneurship, and property investments.
Loan approval time depends on the type of loan applied for and the completeness of the submitted documents.
In general, the cooperative processes loan applications as efficiently as possible to provide timely financial assistance to members.
Applications undergo evaluation to ensure that members meet the requirements and repayment capacity.
Once approved, the loan funds are released according to the cooperative’s procedures and policies.
Benefits & Programs
Members of OLLSMPC receive various financial and social benefits designed to support their welfare and stability.
These benefits include access to savings programs, loan services, and financial assistance programs.
Members may also qualify for the cooperative’s Mortuary Program and Damayan Program, which provide
financial assistance in times of hospitalization, emergencies, or death.
Through these programs, OLLSMPC ensures that members and their families receive meaningful support during important life situations.
The Damayan Program is a financial assistance program designed to support members and their families during hospitalization, medical expenses, or death.
Qualified beneficiaries include members, spouses, dependents (18 years old and below), and parents aged 65 years old and above.
Members must have at least three months of membership and a minimum of ₱4,000 paid-up share capital to qualify.
Financial assistance is computed based on the total official receipts submitted or the contribution pool from active members, whichever is lower.
The Mortuary Program is a financial assistance benefit provided by the cooperative to support the family of a member in the event of the member’s death.
This program helps ease the financial burden during difficult times by providing a monetary benefit depending on the member’s length of membership,
share capital contribution, and credit standing.
Qualified members may receive financial assistance ranging from ₱5,000 to ₱20,000.
To process the claim, beneficiaries must submit the required documents such as the member’s death certificate and other supporting records.
