SANTIAGO CITY HOLDS SEMINAR ON BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND RESILIENCY PLANNING
The City Government of Santiago, through the City Cooperative Development Office, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) R2 Isabela-Santiago City Satellite Office and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Region 2, conducted a seminar program on Business Continuity and Resiliency Planning on September 19, 2024.
The event, held at the City Hall of Santiago's function hall, was attended by representatives from various cooperatives, including the Our Lady of La Salette Multi-Purpose Cooperative (OLLSMPC). The seminar was spearheaded by Mr. Francis Joseph M. Reyes and aimed to equip businesses with strategies for maintaining operations during and after a disaster.
Participants were guided through the development of action plans designed to ensure the cooperative's resilience in the face of potential disruptions. The strategies discussed emphasized protecting employees, minimizing financial losses, safeguarding the organization's reputation, and maintaining operational stability. The seminar concluded with participants presenting their initial action plans and sharing ideas on how to apply the concepts learned to their respective organizations. The event was a success, with attendees expressing their appreciation for the valuable knowledge and tools.
