In celebration of Happy Tourism Month, the Department of Trade and Industry supported a side activity seminar on “Santiago’s Halal Awareness for Promoting Ethical and Cultural Tourism (SHAPE CT)” in collaboration with the Local Government of Santiago.

The seminar aimed to promote ethical and cultural tourism practices for the Muslim community. Business owners in the food and tourism sectors joined to expand their knowledge and adapt practices to improve products and tourism offerings for the Muslim community.
